Studying for ham radio technician license.
Land lines and broadcast radio + television were my introduction to the electronic now. AM and FM radio remain a frequent choice.
Off grid I carry a Garmin inReach device with satellite sms and email services. It doesn’t work in dense trees or sufficiently obscured sky, maybe gps adjacent frequencies?
